Mounting Instructions

Correct mounting of the Pet-2-Ring ™ Doorbell will play a major role if your pet is to be successfully trained to use this device.

(a) Start by first viewing the demonstration video

(b) Follow all instructions on both sides of template provided.

(c) Never mount the device on a door. Mount the device near the door that your pet frequently uses to go in or out. If pet is using more than one door, try to break that habit.

(d) For the device to be firm and stable, we suggest using 3/16 pan head screws for outdoor mounting. Refer to FAQ for mounting on brick wall. However, if using the self-adhesive hooks, surface must be clean and nonporous.

(e) The lower rear portion of device should be making contact with wall. This helps prevent stress on upper mounting supports. The Push Lever is the only moving part. If using the Acrylic Mounting Plate Kit for medium and larger dogs, follow the instructions included with Kit. Use of this plate is optional for cats and small dogs. When using for larger dogs, you will generally be following the Optional Training Method. (see Training Instructions)

The successful use of the Pet-2-ring ™ Doorbell depends on your ability to train your pet to press the Push Lever on the device. After reading the training instructions, you will understand why it is important that the device be mounted correctly.

IF MOUNTED CORRECTLY, CAT SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO SEE THE TRAINING DISH UNLESS THE CAT GOES UP WITH ITS PAWS ONTO THE PUSH LEVER.

However, if using the optional training method for the dog, disregard this diagram below
